Walk USA is the club of Gary Westerfield and Michael Roth. Its powerful presence in the sport of race walking is felt across the country as many of their athletes compete nationally and internationally. They hold many races, instruct walkers, and promote the sport.

At the 2004 USATF Annual Meeting, WalkUSA was selected as an Elite Developmental Club (EDC) for its excellence in training and supporting Open and Elite level race walkers in the US.  The initial selection class consisted of 28 Clubs across the country and WalkUSA was the only one which actively trains race walkers.  WalkUSA will hold this EDC designation for the 2005-2008 Olympiad and hopes to continue producing opportunities for athletes to reach elite levels of competition.
