2010 - 40K NATIONALS

A cool day, with a ever present threat of rain, set the scene for one of the more exciting 40K Nationals in recent years. A relatively large crowd lined up at the start line in Joe Palaia Park in Ocean Township. Many walkers had different goals. Some wanted to finish the whole race, some just part, and of course some came to win. From the start it looked like a battle between veterans Dave McGovern, Ray Sharp, and relative youngster Matt Dewitt.

The young Dan Serianni takes it from the gun, although he is targeting only 20K.
