2009 - 10K MEN'S JUNIOR NATIONAL RACE WALK
Trevor Barron won the 10K Junior Men's Race Walk Championship with championship form and did so with a commanding negative split style. He walked his last 5K in 20:46, a time fast enough to break the 5K Junior National Race Walk record. Following him was Tyler Sorensen in 2nd place with a time of 45:36.65. Third place went to a cramping Matthew Forgues in a time of 46:50.09. Fourth place went to a very happy Dan Serianni. It was a pleasure to see so much young talent all perform so well. PRing at a national meet for a junior is rare occurence and we had all six of the top six finishers PR.
