2004 Olympic Race Walking Photo Story
Finishing 8th Santiago Perez crossed the line in 3:49.48.
Finishing 9th Yuriy Andronov crossed the line in 3:50:28.
Rounding out the top ten Latangadasu A finished in 3:51:55.
Jeffereson Perez raced till the end, passing Norway's Trond Nymark in the last few hundred meters to finsih 12th in 3:53:04. Amazing, what would amount to a bad race, one where it looked Perez never got started, and Perez still finishes in 3:53.
American's Curt Clausen and Philip Dunn finished 32nd and 35th respectively in times of 4:11:31 and 4:12:49.
